For the CO2Nexus team, 2014 was a very important year. Our team achieved important milestones towards our goal of redefining textile processing and reducing water consumption with the TERSUS Solution.
As 2014 comes to a close, we wanted to share some of our successes and thank our partners for a strong and productive year. In 2015, CO2Nexus invites you to join us in the next step of our growth - deploying our commercial TERSUS Solution.
Some 2014 highlights include:
TERSUS Solutions - out of development and into commercialization
In 2014, CO2Nexus formally debuted the TERSUS Solution - a waterless platform for processing technical textiles. This achievement is the result of four years of development, testing, and invaluable support from our partners. In 2015, CO2Nexus will commercialize the TERSUS Solution for brand apparel, cleanroom garment laundry, and industrial textiles processing. We will continue to explore other applications for the TERSUS Solution to process technical textiles.
The California Energy Commission & TERSUS Cleanroom Solutions
In March 2014, the California Energy Commission released the final report detailing 18-months of field testing of the TERSUS Cleanroom Solution. This report highlights the capabilities of the TERSUS platform to reduce energy-use by up to 60% and to nearly eliminate water-use in industrial garment care. Moreover, the report showcases the TERSUS Solution's ability to remove harmful particulates, electro-state discharge, and other contaminants from cleanroom garments. Read the full report here.

New Facility & Expanded Team
CO2Nexus kicked off 2014 in a new facility in Littleton, Colorado. In this new space, CO2Nexus expanded our testing capabilities and space to accommodate more staff. Over the last 12 months, CO2Nexus welcomed new team members to both our engineering and marketing teams. With this expanded team, CO2Nexus will dive into commercialization of the TERSUS Solution with more momentum and expertise in 2015.
Our growing team was supported by several key partnerships in 2014. In April, CO2Nexus joined forces with Patagonia through their $20 Million and Change Fund to expand our efforts in the brand apparel sector. Additionally, the state of Colorado awarded CO2Nexus an Advanced Industries Grant to support the on-going commercialization of the TERSUS Cleanroom Solution.
Stay tuned for upcoming announcements of new partnerships in 2015.
