Behind the Scenes of Circular Fashion: How TERSUS is Powering the Future of Recommerce®

We don’t always make the headlines—but we’re proud to power the stories behind them.

At TERSUS Solutions, we’re the engine behind some of the most ambitious sustainability initiatives in the apparel industry. Our work is often behind the curtain, but it plays a critical role in enabling brands like The North Face, lululemon, Arc'teryx Equipment, New Balance, Faherty Brand and many others to bring their circular goals to life.

Our role? We take on the dirty work—literally—so that brands can focus on building and scaling sustainable business models that reduce waste and extend product life.

The Engine of Recommerce®

Through our closed-loop systems built around waterless CO₂ cleaning, recommerce operations, expert repair, and single-SKU fulfillment, we help forward-thinking brands turn used gear into renewed products with real value. These systems are designed to handle the entire lifecycle of a garment: from intake and sorting to deep cleaning, restoration, photography, storage, and resale.

This work is more than operational—it’s transformational. It keeps valuable textiles out of landfills and in circulation, reducing environmental impact while unlocking new revenue streams and customer engagement models. It’s a win-win: good for the planet, and good for business.

Opening Our Doors

Recently, we had the privilege of hosting over 40 attendees from the Circularity conference at our Denver facility, thanks to our longtime partner The North Face and support from Trellis Group. Visitors got a behind-the-scenes look at The North Face ReMade program—from the moment a garment enters our system to when it’s ready for resale. Chair 6 Collective also brought media partners for a deeper dive into the innovation and impact driving our work.

This kind of transparency matters. It shows what’s possible when logistics, sustainability, and innovation intersect with purpose.

More Than Logistics—It’s About Impact

At TERSUS, we believe that recommerce is more than a trend—it’s a movement. One rooted in care for the products we make, the communities we serve, and the outdoor spaces we treasure.

If your brand is exploring or scaling a resale or repair program, we’d love to talk. Together, we can build the systems that make circularity not just viable, but scalable.
