Repair with Purpose: Tersus Solutions Partners with Theory

At Tersus Solutions, we believe that a circular economy starts with keeping quality products in use for as long as possible. That’s why we’re proud to announce our new relationship as the repair partner for Theory’s “Theory for Good Circle” program, a brand initiative focused on keeping Theory brand products out of the landfills by extending the life of garments through thoughtful repair and reuse, giving products a second life.

A Shared Vision for Circular Fashion

Theory has long been recognized for its commitment to timeless design and responsible production. Through “Theory for Good,” the brand has been taking meaningful steps toward circularity by ensuring that garments are not only designed to last but are also cared for responsibly throughout their lifecycle.

That’s where Tersus comes in. Using our proprietary waterless cleaning technology and full suite of repair options, we help Theory refresh, restore, and reintegrate garments back into circulation, and to Theory’s chosen charity partners of The Fresh Air Fund, The NYC LGBT Community Center, or Street Soccer USA. Students from these partner organizations receive repaired Theory garments and professional headshots - boosting their confidence and supporting career readiness. This process not only reduces waste but also preserves the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of Theory products, while making a meaningful impact for those in need.

The Tersus Approach

Our role in “Theory for Good” focuses on expert garment repair and rejuvenation. Each item that comes through our facility is carefully inspected, cleaned (often by our closed-loop liquid CO₂ system), and then is repaired by skilled technicians trained to meet the brand’s exacting standards.

This process ensures that:

• Fewer garments end up in landfills, helping Theory reduce its environmental footprint.

• It gives Theory products a second life, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to longevity and timelessness.
